Well it’s really me that sucks. The Bean had nothing to do with the delay of this post. So where have we been?We recorded a show after the last one, but I thought it was way too negative. It was the holidays, I went on a tirade about some of my family members and decided that I might have went too far. Then the holidays came and everything got put on hold.
Now, the Bean is student teaching and looking for a permanent teaching position. School officials are extremely particular about teacher’s extracurricular activities. There’s all kinds of rules about using facebook and other things where teachers might come into contact with the students off of school grounds. Suffice it to say, the Bean is wary of discussing anything to do with her students and/or fellow teachers. That affects the show because that’s basically most of her day now.
We started Me & The Bean as a frank discussion of our life and hoped that others could relate. With our current situation, we can’t be honest and talk about what’s going on, for fear of hurting our friends and/or hurting our careers. There’s so many things we want to talk about, but we can’t and that’s not why we got into this.
Barely, from Barely Podcasting, had a good suggestion. He said that we should change our names, do a little voice modulation and come out with a different show. Unfortunately, I think that no matter how I modulate the Bean’s laugh it will be pretty apparent who she is.
So you guys know, we are doing great. The kids are doing great. We hate to go out like this, but that’s the way it has to be. Hopefully something will change to allow us to do it, but it won’t be anytime soon.
Thanks so much for listening to us and for anyone that ever sent feedback, thank you for keeping us going.

12:20 Now the Bean wants to know what we’re doing THIS weekend.
